Ramsey Golf Club
Club House
|
|
|
Our attractive clubhouse was rebuilt
and extended in 1990. It has a well appointed members' and visitors' lounge and bar
area, a small restaurant (seating 40), a snooker room with 2 full size tables, a TV
/ committee room, 2 offices, and ladies and gents locker rooms. The views from the
lounge and restaurant over the 1st and 18th holes with the woods and moor-land of
the northern hills are simply stunning!

The Pro Shop
|
Our Pro Shop adjacent to the clubhouse is run by
the Island's leading professional, Andrew Dyson, whose main base is at Mount Murray
Golf Club near Douglas. He ensures the shop is well stocked at competitive prices
- he is a member of the consortium. The pro shop is open daily from 9.00am until 4.30pm
for the booking of tee times and the collection of green fees etc. If the shop is
closed green fees should be paid at the clubhouse bar. All players are asked to report
to the pro shop before playing.

Practice Facilities
After several years of preparation our newly sited
- just down the hill at the far side of the car park - chipping/putting green is now
in use. Alongside it are 2 practice driving nets.
Some distance from the clubhouse between the 5th
and 6th holes is a small practice ground (some 180 yards long) complete with a practice
bunker and a practice green.
